The Green Guardian campaign was launched in 2003 to help citizens living in the six-county Twin Cities metro area understand the urgent need to make environmentally-responsible purchasing and disposal decisions in their daily lives. By giving citizens the information needed to make these decisions, we can reverse the ever-growing waste stream and protect the environmental health of the six-county Twin Cities metro area.

Green Guardian Mascot
The Green Guardian mascot is available to participate in parades, fairs, ballgames, and environmental and other events. An actor animates the Green Guardian mascot to help promote waste reduction and recycling messages and the GreenGuardian.com website.
